Charity fundraiser responsibilities

You and your team will work on busy high streets throughout London and the South-East engaging with members of the public and inspiring them to support Concern on a regular basis.

The job is challenging but enjoyable, and incredibly rewarding. You will develop and improve your communication skills, negotiation skills, and confidence. You will work with some of the nicest people around in a friendly and fun environment.

Charity fundraiser requirements

  • We provide full training and support.
  • The core of our team has a vast amount of experience working for Concern Worldwide so you will be learning from the best.
  • This role would suit people with experience in retail or hospitality but are now looking for a job with real meaning.

You may also have experience in the following: Charity Fundraiser, Fundraising Executive, Fundraising Assistant, Community Fundraising Executive, Community Fundraiser, Fundraiser, Fundraising, Community Engagement, Fundraising Officer, Community Fundraising Officer, Street Fundraiser, etc.

What you need to know

  • The hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm
  • You have the option to work 4 or 5 days per week
  • The pay is £13.15 per hour, with paid holidays

 

You will receive comprehensive, fully paid training before hitting the streets of London with a team of lively, like-minded people. You will be fully supported all the way by our committed and caring team leaders. You’ll be asking members of the public to come on board with a regular gift by direct debit. You will work in different locations each day so every day is different and it’s a great way to get to know London!

There are good opportunities to progress. Many street fundraisers have gone on to be team leaders or managers or have moved on to other departments within Concern.
