Busy bees making a difference this Christmas

The noble honey bee does so much. They provide us with delicious honey, their honeycomb can be used for candles and their beeswax is often found in many cosmetics products. Most important of all they are crucial to the pollination process.

Bees may be experiencing tough times at the moment but tough times don’t last and with your help you would not only be helping a family but helping aid the survival of this very important insect.

As a result of the new beehives Bougale from Ethiopia received from Concern, his income has gone up from $50 USD to $350 USD per year and meaning he can travel less in search of work and spend more time with his family.

Join the celebrations this Christmas and give a family the wonderful gift of a beehive for £56. What’s more, if you buy this gift from the Concern Shop before 14 December you will double the difference it makes, as the UK government will match it pound for pound as part of our Hunger Stops Here appeal.
