The primary purpose of this evaluation is to measure the impact of the INGO Consortium Emergency Cash Transfer Response Programme on the food and economic security of the targeted households in four Districts of Malawi in the 2013/14 consumption year.

The evaluation found that the INGO Consortium's Emergency Cash Transfer Program was highly effective in meeting its primary objective of improving the food and economic security of the targeted households in four Districts of Malawi in the 2013/14 consumption year.
