This final evaluation assesses the performance of Concern Worldwide’s Emergency Nutrition Response Programme in Kajiado and Loitokitok Districts, Kenya.

In response to the 2009 drought, Concern Worldwide implemented a cross-sectoral emergency nutrition programme with funding by the Office of the U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA). The programme focused both on responding to emergency needs and in building sustainability and resilience in nutrition service provision. The programme also included a nutrition and health education component designed to address apparent poor levels of understanding of the causes of malnutrition in the community.
