Concern is recertified by HAP

03 July 2013

Concern Worldwide has been rectified by the Humanitarian Accountability Partnership (HAP). This highlights the fact that we apply the highest international standards in all our work.

The CEO of Concern, Dominic MacSorley said:

Concern is delighted to be awarded a second successive HAP certification, which is similar to ISO 9000 certification in the business world. It is international recognition of a commitment to excellence throughout the organisation. Being open, transparent and accountable is very much part of our ethos. We are not just accountable to our donors but to our beneficiaries in some of the world’s poorest countries. In order to achieve certification, we had to pass a number of audits in both our main office and in programmes overseas, so this certification highlights our ongoing commitment to improving and strengthening our accountability towards all stakeholders of Concern.
