Emergency Response Evaluations

Concern has conducted or commissioned hundreds of evaluations of its emergency programmes – these have been shared with donors, governments, the UN, beneficiaries, and partners.

The following are the collective analyses of emergency response evaluations that took place within Concern’s countries of operations between 1990 and 2012. These are in keeping with Concern’s commitment in reaching and maintaining the highest possible standards in its programmes.

The period under review has been characterised by a steady increase in political conflicts and, by 2012, there were nearly 400 reported political conflicts and 43 high intensity conflicts or wars, in the world.
