Stitch for Syria: help refugees with our cross-stitch challenge

Get creative and send hope at a desperate time.

At Concern we run a host of activities helping Syrians caught up in years of war. These include teaching Syrian refugees and poor Lebanese women embroidery. Selling what they make gives these women a vital income, and the sessions themselves bring warmth, hope and friendship.

"Somehow it gives us the strength to keep going."

Haya, Syrian refugee

We asked Concern Supporters to download our beautiful cross-stitch pattern, based on a design used at the project and  will be sharing what they made with women at the project, sending a message of hope to people who have been through so much.

There's more information about the response to the campaign on our blog.

You can still download the pattern below if you would like to create your own cross-stitch, but please note the date for sending in your patterns has now passed and we can no longer accept cross-stitch squares.
