The story behind the vinyl

‘Give Peace a Chance’ was produced on 1 June, 1969 during John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s legendary ‘bed-in for peace’ protest in Montreal. This transformative event unfolded over eight days, beginning on 26 May as a powerful symbol of their commitment to global peace.

As John’s debut success outside of The Beatles, ‘Give Peace a Chance’ quickly became the anthem for the anti-war movement with protestors singing this song in mass. ‘Remember Love’ was also recorded during the bed-in by Yoko and was released as the B-Side to ‘Give Peace a Chance’; this marked Yoko ’s first single to be released with John.

You could truly get your hands on a ‘peace’ of history!
