What is Camp out for Concern?

Standing in solidarity with displaced families around the world
Our new fundraising challenge shines a light on the stories of millions of families forced from their homes now living in tents, cities, or displacement camps, where each day brings the harsh realities of hunger, disease, and the fight to survive. According to recent figures by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) at least 123.2 million of the world’s population are currently forcibly displaced.
A night without comforts
Could you sleep outside for just one night to show that you care about this cause?
Choose your challenge
Whether you take part on your own, with family, or as a group, you can shape this challenge in a way that works for you. Choose a location, pack a tent and some simple supplies and spend one night under the stars in solidarity with those who have no home and no choice.

Sleep out in solidarity with families displaced by conflict - and help provide shelter, safety, and hope for those forced from their homes.

Fundraising milestones
To thank you for your commitment and the difference you're making, we’ll mark your fundraising milestones with some thoughtful Concern items — like badges, bags, beanies, water bottles, and our highlight: a torch, symbolising the light you're helping bring to others.
Pitch your tent for a cause
In a displacement camp in Lahj, one mother told me, ‘Children suffer from malnutrition and diseases; they eat whatever is on the plate; those who have lunch don’t have dinner, and those who have breakfast don’t have lunch.’
