          Türkiye-Syria earthquake: where your money is going

          At 4.17am on February 6, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Türkiye (Turkey) and Syria. Tens of thousands of people lost their lives and more than 50,000 buildings were reduced to rubble.           In Yemen, nearly ten years of conflict has uprooted communities, decimated public services, and pushed over 80% of the population into poverty.
          Ewalan Mojong moved to Kangalita village to grow maize after Concern helped to desilt a local canal, providing irrigation for the land - as part of a drought response and resilience-building programme in Turkana, Kenya. By using water from the canal for irrigation, farmers are able to conserve their agro-systems by saving water and maximizing yields towards climate change adaptation.
