Concern's Building Resilient Communities in Somalia ( BRCiS) programmes uses a multifaceted approach to strengthening local capacity to identity, prepare for, and respond to shocks. As a result of using early warning seasonal data, the programme was able to trigger a series of early responses, months prior to conventional humanitarian actions taking place.
