Care Groups and behaviour change: lessons from Karamoja

Concern has been rolling out the care group model in Uganda to positively impact behaviour change.

Concern is using the Care Group approach to reach mothers at household level within the Karamoja region of Uganda. The approach links Health Educators and Health Promoters with Mother Care Groups and Household Caregiver Groups. The approach is demonstrating positive results with respect to achieving behaviour change.
